What is Full Spectrum Doula Care?

Full spectrum doula care is a movement to bring doula care across a full spectrum of reproductive experiences. In addition to our birth and postpartum services we support parents through adoption, family planning, miscarriage, abortion, surrogacy, and stillbirth. As full spectrum doulas we strive to foster a culture that trusts people and their inherent ability to make the best reproductive decisions for themselves. We believe that all parents deserve access to support services along all the full spectrum of reproductive experiences and outcomes.     

Full Spectrum Support Services

Miscarriage and Stillbirth Grief Support- support for parents trying to find their way through the grieving process. We will be there to hear you and help you understand your loss. A doula throughout this time can be there 

Family Planning Support- A doula to help you discover the best birth control method for your family. We can provide education on all methods, including the fertility awareness method, and will factor in your cyclical symptoms to help you personalize your birth control choice. 

Abortion Support- A doula to help you decide the best option for yourself and your pregnancy and support you as you carry out that choice. The Matriarch doulas understand the variety of factors that may lead to an abortion being the best option for you, we are here to honor your decision and hold space for you as you move through that process.
